Why Sovena exists
Bedwetting is one of the most common things families live with, and one of the least talked about. NICE puts it at about 8% of children at nine and a half, and it does not always stop there. By the time most parents look for help, they have tried waking their child at night, cutting drinks and pull-ups, and are quietly waiting for it to pass.

What UK guidance actually says.
NICE, which sets guidance for the NHS in England, says to offer an alarm as the first-line treatment for bedwetting that has not got better with simple advice.
It says alarms have a high long-term success rate, and that bedwetting is not the child's fault.
